Grizz Kidz

Somehow Mommy and Daddy decided it was a good idea to tale the kids to the Grizz game. Saraia couldn't wait to hit the snack bar and Daddy missed the whole 3rd quarter because of the long lines. Langston was super excited and couldn't sit still. It was an event to say the least. The kids are challenging but we wouldn't have it any other way. And wouldn't you guess just when the kids were at their most restless, the game when into overtime, twice!! Bless them both, they did great considering everything!! Hope the Grizz can make it to the playoffs!

NBA ALL-STAR 2010 in Big D

I had such a good time in Dallas with my college roommates. It is always great to get out and see a new part of the country/world. It was the first time I had been in Dallas or Texas and I must say that the saying is true. Everything is bigger in Texas. We hit some clubs, some bars, the streets, the malls, and saw some celebs. Standard All-Star type stuff, but it was so cold in Dallas the crowd was definitely not out and the feel of the event was not there (like it was in Vegas). Anyway, the new Cowboys stadium is a awesome venue. Speaking of which I, along with 108,000 others now hold a world record for most attendance at a basketball game!! Didn't know that was in my bucket list, but I'll take it.

Art Class

Mommy was able to get Saraia and Langston to complete art projects at the SAME TIME!!! That was an accomplishment within itself. The kids were happy to put their creativity down on paper. Both Langston and Saraia completed fantastics works and Mommy and Daddy are looking for frames! Each day they surprise Mommy with their creativity, fun, laughter, and mischief! Langston didn't even once try to eat the paint... how good is that?!

Langston is TWO!!

Mommy and Daddy planned to take Langston to the Zoo for his birthday, but winter stayed around far too long in Tenn. for that this year. Due to the cold weather and Daddy going out of town with friends, Grammy and Grandpa decided to give Langston a small party at CEC! Pizza, Games, Grandparents made this a great day for Langston. Please take note of Langston's blazer, he is so fashionable, just like his Daddy!! The Zoo is still in the plans as soon as the weather gets warm enough! Langston you are growing up much too fast!!

Brother is sick, sister has decided that she is going to be sick as well. Mommy is going along with it!

Bouncing Boy

Langston has been scared of the Bouncers at Fun Zone for as long as its been open. Sister was able to convince him that the Bouncers were not all that bad and he quickly got the hang of it!! Before we knew it Langston was everywhere, even without Sister guiding him. Langston is growing up so fast and he is doing his best to keep up with Saraia. She is really helping him do more and more each day!! What a great team they make, Sraia and Langston.

Happy Birthday DAD!!!

We had a great time celebrating Dad's birthday at the Grizz-Lakers game. We laughed and cheered as the Grizz pulled out a close one in the final seconds!! Happy Birthday DAD!!!

Toothfairy visits

Wow... It is so amazing how we forget how special the little things were when we were kids! Saraia has been messing with a loose tooth for a few days and it is now out! She is so excited and cannot wait to see what the toothfairy leaves under her pillow. It seems like yesterday she was getting teeth and now she is losing them. She is growing up faster and faster everyday!
